Personal Productivity
Workshop Goals: To assist you in developing skills for improving
your productivity and effectiveness and achieve better results than you
ever have before, making 2005 your best year yet! Not only will you become
a better time manager, you will develop a plan of action for your success
and overcome obstacles that have blocked you in the past.
This workshop also gives you the opportunity to develop personal management
skills by understanding your behavioral style and manage those ineffective
reactions and responses you tend to do under pressure.
You will also select goals for the year, develop a 90 day plan of action for
propelling you into action and lay the ground work for achieving measurable
improvements and results.
First Session: Understanding Yourself and Others in the Work Environment (1/2 day)
You will gain a practical understanding of why people do and react the way
they do under various circumstances. This will help you:
- Understand behavioral tendencies of yourself and others under pressure
- Learn what motivates each style to perform successfully
- Know what behavioral style characteristics block your success
- Recognize and effectively work with the styles of others
- Flex your style to get effective results
- Increase your appreciation of different styles
- Anticipate and minimize potential conflicts with others.
In this session, you will:
- Perform a self-assessment based on DISC results.
- Set goals for overcoming or managing weaknesses.
- Set goals for developing strengths.
- Identify styles of your team members, customers and prospects.
Second Session: Increase Your Effectiveness - Getting Better Results Through Time Management (1/2 day)
- Setting And Keeping Priorities.
- Identifying High Payoff Activities – HPA Assessment
- Dealing With Interruptions Effectively
- Developing A Monthly, Weekly And Daily Plan Of Action
- Effective Use Of Your Planning Systems
- Staying On Goal – Developing and Maintaining Habits For Success
